Audit Manager - U.S. Compliance

Our Client, a Leading Bank, is looking for a Audit Manager - U.S. Compliance to join their growing team.

Job Description
What is the Opportunity?
The Audit Manager will provide an independent and objective evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the Compliance practices for all of the business lines within the company in the US (i.e., US Capital Markets, US Wealth Management, Global Asset Management, WFC branch and the NY Credit Branch).
 
What will you do?
  • Support the US Director and Other Support Functions with effective audit planning, reporting, and issue remediation on all Compliance and other support functions.
  • Able to work in a dynamically changing environment and act as a trusted advisor to the business.
  • Working closely with internal clients at all levels in developing audit findings and recommendations regarding business process optimization, profit improvement, internal control, and compliance.
  • Leading the development and implementation of risk assessments and audit plans.
  • Representing internal audit function on organizational project teams, at management meetings, and with external organizations.
  • Developing and maintaining productive client and team relationships through individual contacts and group meetings. 
What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 or more years of experience completing audits 
Nice to have
  • 2-4 or more years of experience in internal audit in financial services
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA)
